Coriander seeds

Take few tablespoons of coriander seeds and boil them in 2 cups of water. Boil it until it reduces to half a cup of water. You can drink this decoction 3 times a day. This is a very useful home remedy for feet swelling.

Buttermilk

Take a cup of curd and prepare buttermilk with it. Drink this 2-3 times a day. Buttermilk is good remedy for the patient having feet swelling during pregnancy. It also cleans the toxic substance within the stomach and helps in digestion.

Vitamin E Food

Food rich in vitamin E is good for person having swelling of feet during pregnancy. Some of the Vitamin E-rich food is spinach, almond oil, sweet potato, sunflower seeds and wheat germs. This is the effective remedy for feet swelling.

Natural Treatment for Swelling of Feet during Pregnancy

Naturally Treat Feet Swelling with Fennel Seeds

Take 2 cups of water and add some sugar to it. Now, add 2 tablespoon of fennel seeds in it. Put the mixture over flame and bring to boil until it reduced to half of whole. You can drink this mixture 3 times a day. This is an effective natural treatment for feet swelling.

Take any oil and slowly massage your feet for 5-10 minutes in circular motions. It provides relax and also reduce swelling of feet during pregnancy.

Cure Feet Swelling using Bitter Gourd Juice

Bitter Gourd juice is an effective cure for feet swelling during pregnancy. 1-2 cups of juice extracted from bitter gourd must be taken by the pregnant woman early in the morning on empty stomach. It should continue for 5-6 months. For better taste patient can add 1 tablespoon of lime juice in it.

Swelling of Feet and Diet

Eat protein rich food like pulses, milk products and fish. Eat green vegetable like spinach, beans, and cabbage and fruits like papaya, apple and guava.

Avoidable Things

Avoid taking high amount of salt in diet. Salt must be taken in moderate quantity. Avoid standing for a long period of time. This gives direct access for the fluids to enter into the lower parts of the body and cause the feet to swell up.
