Home Remedies for Eye Care

Potatoes

Potatoes are good for treating eye infections and keeping them healthy. Take some small round pieces of potatoes and put it over eyes. Leave the slices for 15-20 minutes. This home remedy helps to relax stressed and tired eyes.

Aniseed

Aniseed is good for better eye sight and especially it is good for treating cataract. You can take 1 tablespoon of the powder of aniseed every morning and every evening. The home remedy for eye care is very effective.

Remedy for Eye Care

Liquorice

It is the best remedy for eye infections. Take the dry root of plant and grind it to make powder. Now, take half teaspoon of this powder. Mix same quantity of honey and half quantity of ghee in it. Take this mixture two times a day with a cup of milk. The mixture should be taken empty stomach. This is best remedy for eye care.

Indian Gooseberry (Amla)

Indian gooseberry is helpful for treating eye problems. It is helpful in relieving both conjunctivitis and glaucoma. You can take the juice of amla with honey for getting better results. This is a wonderful remedy for eye problems.

Natural Treatment for Eye Care

Naturally Treat Eyes with Rose

Take some petals of rose and mix them with raspberry leaves. Put the both in a glass of water. Leave it for few hours and wash your eyes with that water. This natural treatment provides fast relief to day long tiring eyes.

Naturally Treat with Carrot

Carrot is beneficial in naturally treating eyes. Carrots contain beta-carotene, which is the precursor of vitamin A in the body. Vitamin A is essential element of body. Vitamin A is responsible for strengthening the eyes and protecting them from night blindness.

Treatment for Eye Care

Treat Eyes using Lavender oil

Take 2.5 cups of water and put a drop of lavender oil in it. Mix the both well. Take cotton pad and dip it in mixture. Now, put the pad over the closed eyes and leave for 15 minutes. It is good treatment for eyes and eyes infections.

Treat Eyes with Parsley

Take some parsley and extract juice from it as raw juice of parsley is effective for eye care. It is helpful in relieving problems of eyes such as corneal ulcers, cataracts, weak eyes, conjunctivitis, opthalmia and sluggishness of the pupils.

Eye Care Cure

Cure Eye Problems with Cucumber

Cut some round slices of a cucumber. Keep them in fridge for 10 minutes. Put the cooler side over the closed eyes for 10-15 minutes. It is a simple treatment to cure eye infections.

Cure Eye Problems with Almond

Take some almonds, fennel and sugar candy grind them to make a fine paste. You can store mixture in a glass container. You can eat 10g of this mixture with 250g of milk every night before going to bed. It is an effective method to cure eye problems.

Eye Care Diet

The intake of vitamin A is of the utmost importance for improving vision. The good sources of vitamin A are spinach, cheese, turnip, milk cream, butter, tomatoes, lettuce, carrots, cabbage, soy beans, green peas, fresh milk, oranges, and dates. So, all these should be added to diet chart.

Avoidable Things

You should avoid getting your eyes dried. Always wash your eyes with cold water 3-4 times a day. Restrict intake of alcohol and smoking. Avoid using of strong soaps as it may cause infection in eyes.
